COVID-19 News: Mumbai reported the highest COVID-19 cases in a 24-hour period on Thursday, government data shows. Maharashtra saw a record spike of 43,183 new infections. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has called an "urgent" meeting with the Health Minister and other officials, as the city reported 2,790 new coronavirus cases on Thursday. In election news, Prime Minster Narendra Modi will address two rallies in Tamil Nadu today, in Madurai and Kanyakumari . Later in the day, he will head to Kerala.
