Avenues Distance Immersion

With only a month left in the school year two parents asked us, "What will happen to our children's language skills over the summer." This is the story of a team consisting of two Avenues parents, members from curriculum development, finance group, technology integration group, one Spanish and one Mandarin teacher, the creative group and 12 students who all came together to pilot a distance immersion program.
