Savage Model 24, combination 30-30 and 12 gauge hunting or survival gun

Combination rifle and shotguns have been around for a long time as a way to lessen the amount of firearms you need to carry on an expedition. Stevens started making this one then Savage took over production about 1950 and produced it in several different calibers and gauges. Savage still produces the model 42 chambered in 22/410.
