Come and meet Lila, the self-conscious ladybird, as she discovers the importance of celebrating our uniqueness and that everyone is special in their own way. Lila is part of the Mindful Minibeasts series, created to support children’s wellbeing and mental health.
This resource pack helps support children as you introduce the concept of uniqueness and diversity, emphasising that everyone is special and different in their own way. By completing the hands on activities, children will have a creative way to celebrate their uniqueness and express themselves.

A creative approach to wellbeing and encouraging a growth mindset.
Mindful Minibeasts is part of our Wellbeing Wednesday scheme and gives you the resources and ideas you need to support children's wellbeing in your classroom.
Each week, the children will meet a new minibeast, and listen as the characters learn a new skill to support their mental health.
Mindful Minibeasts has 6 packs to download and use in the classroom. Each pack contains a teaching guide filled with ideas, teacher guidance, curriculum links and more, as well as a story and story questions to share with the children, tuff tray pack and mindful colouring activity.
In addition to this, you can use our new ChatterBots feature to chat to each of the characters from the story! They will reflect on what they learned during the story and share their tips with the children.
