How to put your embroidery art into a picture frame

This is to show how I put my embroidery art into a picture frame.
In the video, the embroidery hoop used is 6" circle.
The original size of the whole piece fabric for embroidery is around 7.5x9.5"
The cardboard used as backing for stretching the embroidery is 5x7"
Picture frame is from Walmart, size is 8x10" with a ready cut mat of 5x7"

The key is to make sure the embroidery piece can fit in the window of the mat board. So your actual embroidery art should be smaller than the size of the mat window. (In the video, my embroidery barely fit XDDD)
In order to keep it's puffiness, I'd added the foam to increase some height under the mat. If you don't have foam, you can use stripes of cardboard or double/triple the mat if possible so the embroidery art won't be pressed onto the picture frame glass completely.
You can also try using the shadow box to display your embroidery art once you stretched your embroidery on a piece of hard mat board or cardboard if you found a normal picture frame is too tight for your puffy fluffy art~

Thank you for watching!
