There are any number of ways, as you can see here on YouTube, to weatherstrip a door. At Conservation Pros, we've seen them all. Frankly, most of them are ineffective at best. The method we show here is the absolute best way to weatherstrip a door, hands down. It all begins with the "aluminum backed vinyl-clad foam" kit, known by its trade name of "Q-Lon".

The key is to have the weatherstripping meet the door, rather than trying to get the door to meet the weatherstripping.
