Background story: Mahler's Symphony No. 1

When Gustav Mahler conducted the German premiere of his first symphony in 1894, a future chief conductor played in the orchestra.

The Oslo Philharmonic with Ung Filharmoni (Young Philharmonic) and conductor Eivind Aadland will perform Mahler's Symphony No. 1 in Oslo Concert Hall in October 2019.
