In October 1943, inside the Nazi extermination camp of Sobibor in occupied Poland, prisoners staged one of the most extraordinary acts of defiance in World War II history — the Sobibor Revolt.

Sobibor was built for a single purpose: extermination. Nearly 250,000 Jews were murdered there, and most prisoners knew they faced only death. But under the leadership of Alexander Pechersky, a Soviet Jewish POW, they organized a daring plan: kill the SS officers, storm the fences, and escape.

On October 14, 1943, the revolt erupted. Prisoners ambushed guards with axes and knives, gunfire broke out, and chaos filled the camp. Hundreds ran through minefields and barbed wire — and while many were killed, about 300 prisoners made it out alive.

The Nazis tried to erase this story by destroying Sobibor, but they failed. Around 50 survivors lived to tell what happened, ensuring the Sobibor Revolt would never be forgotten.

This is the untold story of resistance, courage, and survival against impossible odds.
