Own An RX8? Watch How-To De-Flood

The RX8 is notorious for flooding and just straight up dropping dead Anywhere it feels. Many people DONT know that these engines are RACE engineered for High Revs and Excessive abuse. owning a rotary engine requires some special attention. firstly NEVER USE SYNTHETIC OIL.... Let the engine idle 5 mins before driving away. Let the vehicle IDLE for 3-4 mins after driving. these engines do NOT like to cruise around in the lower rpm range these engines have a RPM ratio of 3:1 therefore... when the tach reads 3000 rpm..... the rotors are actually turning 1000 rpms.... simple math... what ever the needle reads on the tach.. divide by three. as mentioned from Mr. Harris at the mazda North america training center... cruising in a rx8 at low rpm is like driving a standard drive vehicle and not going lower than 4th gear. here i show u one of the MANY ways to De-Flood the rotary engine and i will hopefully SOON have other methods shown. i have take great pride in becoming a RX8 tech and helping MANY MANY MANY people with their cars and i also love the rotary engine -- great concept needs further development if you have ANY questions ...
