Meet: Steve Harrington

Steve Harrington never set out to be a hero. He just kept stepping in when others needed help.

Once known for his popularity and confidence, Steve slowly became something else entirely—a protector. He took on the role of an older brother to Dustin, helped track down his strange inter-dimensional pet, and became the one who stayed behind to watch over a group of kids in Hawkins who were always getting in over their heads.

When danger came, Steve didn’t run. He stood his ground, even facing a Demogorgon to keep his friends safe.

One night, Steve received a call from Nancy Wheeler asking for help. He drove straight to Hawkins National Laboratory, only to find her gone. The only thing left behind was her notebook. Before he could react, the ground beneath him split open and black mist swallowed his vision.

When Steve woke up, he was somewhere else entirely—a place that felt familiar, but wrong. Once again, he was alone. And once again, someone needed protecting.

Steve Harrington’s Perks:

• Babysitter – When you unhook a Survivor, the Killer’s Aura is revealed to you for 8 seconds. The unhooked Survivor instead has their Scratch Marks and Pools of Blood suppressed and gains an increased Haste Status Effect for 20/25/30 seconds.
• Camaraderie – If you are hooked and enter the Struggle Phase, the Struggle timer is paused for 26/30/34 seconds when another Survivor comes within 16 metres of your Hook.
• Second Wind – After healing another Survivor for 1 Health State, the next time you are unhooked or unhook yourself, you suffer from the Broken Status Effect. After 28/24/20 seconds, you are automatically healed 1 Health State. Deactivates if you enter the Dying State before the timer ends and does not activate while Broken.
