This video is being posted for educational purposes. It is a fairly comprehensive review of an animation trend in the first half of the 20th century.

Despite the stereotype that cartoons are intended for kids, the animated films of the 1930s, '40s and '50s were largely geared toward adults. The cartoonists also managed to slip in some pretty racy material.
