CORNBREAD DRESSING HOLIDAY DINNER IDEAS

CORNBREAD DRESSING RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
8 cups of crumbled cornbread
1 1/2 cups chopped onion
1 1/2 cups chopped celery
1/2 cup butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1/2 teaspoon rubbed sage
32 ounces of chicken broth

DIRECTIONS
Melt the butter in a medium skillet
Cook onion and celery in the butter until tender
Mix Poultry seasoning, Sage and salt together and sprinkle over the crumbled cornbread
Add cooked onion and celery
Mix all together
Add the chicken broth and mix well
Place mixture in a 1 1/2 quart baking dish
Press down on mixture to make it firm
Cover and bake at 325 degrees F for 45 to 50 minutes
