🌟Coltsfoot flower watercolor painting process - The Herbalists Treasure Chest painting series. As Spring is in full bloom, Nature is awake - I restarted my project of painting herbal flowers. As I look for new herbal flowers, I also pick them, dry them for tea blends and paint them for visual reference of the herbal plant!
This is an advanced painting but with careful observation and accurate painting - it is possible :)

Paper - Saunders Waterford Hot pressed, 640gsm, 100%cotton
Pigments - Lemon Yellow, Indian Yellow, Alizarin Crimson, Ultramarine Blue, Sap Green, Perylene Green, Perylene Violet, Lamp Black - remember to experiment with pigments that you have in your paintbox :)
Brushes - simple synthetic round brush, fine tip synthetic brush
Paper towel
