Marcus has dubbed his cat Toffee Muffin as “the fox defender.”

“We have been plagued by foxes for many years and they are quite a nuisance,” he says, “messing up the garden and damaging plants.” Marcus says he was surprised by the chase, which happened in front of his Ring Cam at night, because Toffee Muffin is “quite a small cat.”

“It’s surprising he took it on as foxes are generally bigger and more powerful than cats but he saw them off the territory no problem,” he says. “Maybe they don’t like cats’ sharp claws?”
