⮚ INTER-STATE RACKET INVOLVED IN SUPPLYING OF TOP QUALITY “HEROIN”, BUSTED.
⮚ TWO KEY MEMBERS OF THE SAID CARTEL ARRESTED.
⮚ HEROIN WEIGHING 490 GRAM, RECOVERED.

I. INTRODUCTION:-
That, as per the ‘Zero Tolerance’ policy against drugs, Delhi Police is determined to root out the menace of drugs and constantly striking upon the inter-state and international drug traffickers. Accordingly, various operations and campaigns are being run by districts and units of Delhi Police including the Crime Branch.
The team of ARSC Crime Branch, Shakarpur, Delhi have arrested two key members of an inter-state drug cartel namely (1) Piyush R/o Nand Nagri, Delhi and Vandana R/o Nand Nagri, Delhi who are indulged in supplying Heroin in Delhi NCR. A Case vide FIR No- 82/2025, dated 06.04.2025, u/s 21, NDPS ACT, PS Crime Branch, has been registered in this regard.

II. TEAM& OPERATION:-
The team of ARSC, Crime Branch, Delhi, in its endeavor to stop the supply of narcotic substances in Delhi, has deployed manual and technical surveillance over the suppliers of narcotic substances.
On 05.04.2025, credible information was received by ASI Ravinder Kumar, that one person namely Piyush who indulged in supplying of top quality Heroin in Delhi/NCR and today he will deliver one consignment of Herion to someone at underpass near Nathu Colony Flyover, Jagatpuri Extension, Delhi. The information was developed manually and technically.
On the above information, a team of ARSC led by Insp. Arun Sindu consisting ofSI Sunil Kumar, ASI Ravinder Kumar, ASI Ravinder Singh, HC Devender Singh, HC Sachin Kalkhanday, HC Ankit & HC Sachin Baliyan was constituted under the supervision of Sh. Arvind Kumar,ACP/ARSC and all over supervision of undersigned. The team laid a trap on the road Near Nathu Colony, Underpass, Near Jagatpuri Extension Delhi, and apprehended oneperson namely Piyush r/o Delhi. During his search, 475 gram Heroin was recovered.A case Vide FIR No. 82/2025, dated 06.04.2025, u/s 21, NDPS Act, was registered at PS Crime Branch. Further investigation was taken up by SI Arvind Kumar. During the investigation, accused Piyush stated that he along with associate who is absconding in this case was procuring Heroin from Vandana @ Pooja. Further, on 09.04.25 accused Vandana @ Pooja was arrested in this case and during her PC remand, 15 gram heroin was recovered from her house in Nand Nagri, Delhi. That, further investigation of the case is continue.
(III) INTERROGATION& MODUS OPERANDI-
During sustained interrogation, Piyush disclosed that around one years back, he resides in the area of Nand Nagri, Delhi where he came in contact of one of his associates who was involved in supply racket of Heroin and further supply to his known persons in Delhi. Further, he knows that Heroin is very much in demand in the area of Nand Nagri and adjoining area of Nand Nagri, Delhi. If he procured Heroin at a low rate from his associates persons, he can be sold it in Delhi/NCR at a high rate and he could earn easy money.Due to his weak financial condition, unfulfilled needs and in greed of money accused Piyush started to supplying drugs as he knows there is huge profit in this work. Accused Piyush used to supply of heroin in the area of Nand Nagri and adjoining area in retail and wholesale.
During the interrogation, accused Piyush disclosed that he along with associate (who is absconding in this case) was procuring Heroin from Vandana @ Pooja r/o Nand Nagri, Delhi.
Further, on 09.04.25 accused Vandana @ Pooja was arrested in this case and during her PC remand, 15 gram heroin was recovered from her residence in Nand Nagri, Delhi. She further disclosed that she was procuring Heroin supply from her relative r/o Nand Nagri, Delhi ( who is absconding in this case)and further supplying Heroin contraband in the area of Nand Nagri and adjoining area in retail and wholesale. She took one rented flat in DLF Bhopura, Ghaziabad, U.P to hide herself from being arrested and to safely supply heroin from there. She was operating Heroin Supply from DLF Ghaziabad U.P to Nand Nagri, Delhi very smoothly.
That, during the interrogation, both the accused persons Piyush and Vandana @ Pooja disclosed the name of their associates who were involved in supply cartel of Drugs Syndicate. Raids have been conducting to arrest them all and to bust entire Drugs Syndicates.
