The United States has a long-standing history of violence and injustice towards the Black People of the Nation; the white supremacists have been known to violate the civil rights of the blacks.
The George Floyd killing has just fuelled the protest against police brutality, violence and discrimination towards the black community.

As a result, the black lives matter protest has gained a lot of momentum even during this COVID pandemic and there were peaceful riots to vent the frustration and anger against this wretched trend.
The Floyd killing video sent shivers down the spine of people worldwide, everyone has condemned the action that the police took, the police brutality news was all over the world; still no action was taken against the policemen in Minnesota. The gesture of some policemen against the peaceful riots was abrupt and sped-up the BLM protests even more. Documentaries of a crime wave in America committed by the police, more precisely termed as police killing are heard every now and then and we cannot omit the deaths of people like Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery. These cases add up to Police Brutality In America and cuts in police funds are being made and protests continue to reform the law.
