Janice is a religious recovery consultant and founder of the Conference on Religious Trauma as well as Shameless Sexuality: Life After Purity Culture conference. As a registered professional counsellor personally acquainted with religious trauma syndrome (RTS), she can easily relate to her clients.

MARK from Talk Beliefs hears Janice's story of religious restrictions that led to even more stringent rules -- and even to flirtation with Eastern religions. When she finally realized that she was suffering from religious trauma syndrome, she set herself on a path to reason and recovery.
