Udaipur is a city in the western Indian state of Rajasthan. Udaipur is also know as City of Lakes. It was the capital of the Mewar Kingdom and founded by Maharana Udai Singh II in 1559. It’s set around a series of artificial lakes and is known for its lavish royal residences. City Place, Lake Palace and Monsoon Place (9km from Udaipur) are the places in Udaipur. Fateh Sagar Lake, Lake Pichola, Badi Lake are well known lakes of Udaipur.
