From The Archives: Disneyland Railroad in the 90's

The following are a few clips found in my archives of the Disneyland Railroad shot in 1997 and 1998. This was the tail end of the so called "white smokebox era". In the late 1970's most of the DRR locomotives received new liveries and all had their smokeboxes painted white(a popular trend on steam locomotives at the time). beginning in 1999 the locomotives had their smokeboxes painted with graphite once again and much to the joy of Disney fans were returned one by one to their original DRR liveries.
