Alonzo T. Adams II, the director of meat technology at North Carolina’s Goodmark Foods and credited with creating the recipe for the modern Slim Jim, has died from the coronavirus. The World War II veteran was 95 years old. Sunday TODAY’s Willie Geist remembers a life well lived.
