Finland - 100 Years of Independence! Suomi100

6.12.1917 Finland declared independence.

Today we celebrate the 100-years we have lived that declare. 19th Century was bloody for Finland.

Even centuries before under Sweden or Russia, we have spilled blood, but like Zachris Topelius wrote on "Maamme" book (1875), we have never been destroyed, though conquered, we have never given up anything for free.

This is a Tribute to those who gave it all and to those who lost their youth and health, not forgetting those at home. Neverthless the political views, we are Finns!

Also for the Finnhorse and the War dogs who never get enough credit.
