🇧🇸 The Dash 8 Returns | Trans Island Airways Delivery Flight / Aircraft Tour | C6-FUZ

The Dash 8 was an icon in Bahamian history as it was the backbone of Bahamasair's fleet for over 25 years. It flew the Bahamian skies from 1990 to 2016. The Dash 8 was so popular amongst Bahamians that it is one of the few aircraft types that the average Bahamian knew by name. I would've never expected to see one flying around here again.

Trans Island Airways has been around since the 1970s. However, presently, they are primarily a private charter airline. Their current fleet besides the Dash consists of several Cessna Caravans and Learjet 60s. Being significantly bigger than her counterparts, I can imagine that the Dash will end up participating in regular passenger flights at some point. C6-FUZ's current activity is still in the demo phase.

Note:
-"The keys" were given to TIA since January, but the Dash spent between then and now in Ft Lauderdale (KFXE) being repainted.
-The cloud coverage was chaotic that day. My settings were fixed for the highs to prevent blowout leading to an overemphasis on the change in brightness.
-I tried to experiment with the gopro for the cabin shots. Was not a fan of how they came out. But then again, Im expecting a lot from a gopro in an "indoor" setting.
