Wooden Orcrist

My daughter wanted to be a pirate for Halloween, and I thought it would be fun to make a sword for her costume. I was inspired by Paul Jenkins wooden Orcrist project, and since the sword's design is similar to a cutlass, it made a great pirate sword. Orcrist - also known as 'Goblin Cleaver' or 'Biter' - is one of the swords that Gandalf and company found in the troll horde in The Hobbit.
