Continuing on with the Lion King theme, I decided to start on songs from The Lion King 2.

"The film centers around Simba and Nala's daughter, Kiara, who falls in love with Kovu, a male lion who was raised in a pride of Scar's followers, the Outsiders. Desperate to be together, they must overcome the two obstacles that are keeping them apart: Kovu's mother, Zira, and Simba's prejudices against the Outsiders."

- It was co-written by Mark Mancina and Jay Rifkin.

- The song is used in the opening sequence of the 1998 film,. Animals are shown traveling to Pride Rock to witness the presentation of Simba and Nala's daughter Kiara. The theme of the song is that Mufasa's legacy lives on despite his death.

- The song features English lyrics mixed in with some Zulu lyrics, similar to some of the lyrics sung in the song Circle of Life, including the lyrics "Ingonyama nengw' enamabala" (Here is a lion and a leopard) and the background lyrics of "Hela hey Mamela" (Hey, Listen)
