How to Highlight Parts of Clips in FCPX - FCPX Tutorial

This tutorial shows you how to highlight a certain part of a video clip in Final Cut Pro 10.3. This method uses a solid generator layered over a clip. Then opacity is turned up to make the generator clip partially see through. After that you apply a shape mask effect and invert it to cut a hole in the generator clip and make that part of your clip stand out, simulating a spotlight effect. After that, I show you how to use the video animator to set keyframes and animate the spotlight effect to follow a moving subject
