You may have known Ivanka Trump as the first child of the 45th president of the United States, or for her clothing line named after her. However, you came to know that statuesque blonde, its hard to ignore the impact the last few years have had on her relationship with the public, especially with her family. It’s not hard to imagine that being raised by a real estate tycoon comes with its own unique difficulties. But when that tycoon makes headlines daily, that can take a toll on any relationship. Since leaving her job as adviser to the president, Ivanka has seemingly been keeping her distance from the rest of the Trump family, but especially her father. Ivanka has been busy forging her own way, separate from her father and brothers. Focusing on being a working mom and working in local communities pushing various initiatives, including fighting food insecurity. Other than her new career ventures, there are a few other reasons Ivanka seems to be keeping her distance, and most of them boil down to not having to interact with her father's politics publicly anymore. Her once very political feed is replaced with community outreach and family photos with her kids and husband, Jared Kushner. She has also publicly accepted her father’s re-election defeat, something her brothers are yet to do. Though Ivanka has been called her father’s and mother’s favourite, that hasn’t stopped her from moving out of her family’s shadows to start a separate, simpler life for herself and her family.
