Harbor Freight Windshield Removal tool, Part number 60298 review

Do I Recommend purchasing this tool? No.

While the handle and cable appear to be of acceptable quality, in my opinion the blade is very inferior. In addition to the blade being very dull out of the box, I found that the blade bent and snapped with very little force; which is the major downfall of this tool. When I tried to put a standard blade in the HF handle, the standard blade did not fit due to the slot not being wide enough and the holes did not line up. The tool is also set up incorrectly right out of the package with the pull handle needing to be switched to the other side of the blade.

When you consider that a professional quality tool with a professional blade can be purchased online (check link below) for $19.66 vs $14.99 for the HF tool that is basically useless, the HF tool does not appear to be a good value.
