We Built a Mobile App in 6 Weeks that Tests for Colorblindness

Using frameworks such as Ionic and AWS combined with the expertise of our consultants, we created a proof of concept mobile app in 6 weeks. As a consultancy firm, we want to help healthcare companies to improve their users' health and well-being. So we built a mobile app that helps people to identify colorblindness; Ishihara. Colorblindness is a vision deficiency that affects roughly 300 million people around the world. Our backend algorithm generates Ishihara Plates using the different types of color patterns the test defines. We have generated thousands of plates for the current state of our application. Then, our mobile application shows the user a set of 15 plates asking them to identify the character hidden in it. At the end of the process, we show the percentage of plates gotten right or wrong.
