In many countries citizens living in rural and remote parts often have difficulties in getting fast and reliable broadband internet connections, which has a negative impact on developing businesses and accessing online services in these areas.

Not in Denmark though as the NGA network availability by the end of 2013 had been passing more than 900,000 households out of 2.6 million in Denmark. Together with FTTX and FTTC and ASDL it makes Denmark a worldwide leader on Digital Agenda Scoreboard 2014 – Broadband markets from the European commission.
