I Am: Daily Affirmations is an app for self-care and motivation. It averages 4.9 stars and ranks 34 for Health and Fitness. Daily affirmations help rewire our brains, build self-esteem, and change negative thought patterns. So with this app, you can choose from many daily intentions and set affirmation reminders to be delivered throughout the day. This helps you make a positive shift in your mindset.

MindDoc: Your Companion is a mental health companion developed by psychologists and it averages 4.6 stars. It’s intended for those who want to learn about emotional well-being or who suffer from mild to moderate mental illness. Users can log their mood in real-time, get insights about symptoms and behaviors, and discover courses and exercises for emotional well-being. MindDoc can be used by itself for prevention and self-help, or as a part of treatment with a mental health practitioner.

Finally, Sanvello is a therapy, coaching, and self-care app for anxiety and depression. It averages 4.7 stars and was designed by experts to include therapy, coaching, coping techniques, meditations, and goal and mood tracking. It checks in with how you’re feeling so you can track your emotions and progress over time. As patterns are identified, Sanvello provides customized tools to the user.

These are just five of the thousands of apps which are addressing the need for mental health tools. People can take the first steps of receiving care right from their devices.
