My new sawmill smoking after three cuts!
This is a really fun tool and it was looking really promising in the first few cuts but then my son was on his second run and the motor just started bogging down and the blade stopped causing the belts to rub and smoke a little. We shut it off and left it for a few days until I had some time to call Woodland Mills. I was only on the phone for about 15 minutes including wait time and as we suspected he said it was likely not getting to full throttle. I tested it by using my left hand push the gas a little more and sure enough, it cut right through the rest of the log. I will go out this weekend and readjust the throttle cable and check for any slack or adjustment screws but I am sure it just needs a little adjusting and we will be cutting away!!!!
