Israeli soldiers fire shots towards Irish diplomats | Newstalk

The Tanaiste says two Irish diplomats were among a group which were shot at by Israeli soldiers visiting the West Bank today.

Israel's military claims soldiers fired "warning shots" because the group had left an approved route.

Tanaiste Simon Harris is describing the incident as "completely unacceptable".

The EU Security chief is calling for accountability.
Kaja Kallas says Israel is obligated to protect the lives of diplomats under a convention it signed up to.
