Today, I’d like to introduce Salesforce’s AI Agent service.

Last month, Salesforce launched a new marketplace called AgentExchange and what makes this launch so interesting is the sheer size of Salesforce’s existing AppExchange marketplace.
AppExchange alone was valued at $2.7 billion last year, and it’s expected to reach $6.6 billion by 2031.

Many solo developers tend to focus only on apps or web services. But marketplaces run by global platforms like Salesforce, Shopify, and WordPress offer huge opportunities as well.

One smart strategy is to find the gaps — features that existing apps don’t cover —
and be the first to fill those needs by creating an AI Agent service.
