I would like that, too! But we obviously know that ain’t reality.

When we get started on a new project or endeavor, we obviously *hope* that things are gonna work. But we really can’t be certain.

We often have no idea whether or not it’s gonna be successful.

But we muster up the courage to get started anyway.

That’s the easy part.

The hard part is that messy middle.

We’re creating and creating and creating.

Trying. Testing. Experimenting.

Hurling our pasta toward the proverbial wall with high hopes of stickiness.

Impatiently waiting for some sign that all this effort is gonna work.

And this is when we’ve gotta choose tenacity.

BEFORE we gain traction.

BEFORE we see any results.

BEFORE we know if it will be successful.

That’s because this is where the rubber meets the road - where you decide whether or not this big, juicy, fabulously successful life you have planned out is worth the effort.

. . . even when the road gets challenging.
. . . even when you don’t know what to do next.
. . . even when someone throws you a curveball that derails you a bit.
. . . even when you have to choose to dig deep and make it happen.

Bottom line: You must chose tenacity. Every single time. No matter what.
