Make the most delicious, soft and perfectly moist Vanilla Cake with flat top by following this recipe which is the easiest to follow and will show how to make the vanilla cake from scratch. For the batter, you only need a whisk and a bowl and 1 minute of mixing and that’s about it.

Recipe - Make sure everything is at Room Temp

Dry Ingredients:
300gm Flour (approx 2 cups)
275-300gm Sugar (1.25-1.5 cup)
1 tsp Salt
2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Baking Soda

Wet Ingredients:
113gm or 1/2 cup Softened Butter
1/3 cup Oil
1/4 cup Sour Cream or Greek Yogurt
3 Large Eggs
3/4 cup Buttermilk (To Make: 3/4 cup of Milk + 3/4 tbsp Lemon Juice/Vinegar, let it stand for 30mins)
2-3 tbsp Vanilla
