With his passion for dance and choreography, Ammar refuses to allow his hearing impairment to break his spirit. He is going to prove his mettle with a dance performance staged on a bus, but first, he has to convince his funders.

One of the biggest missions in Jed’s life is one of independence. Unable to see clearly beyond a foot away, it hampered his mobility but not his determination to overcome it. Jed shares how a bus ride gave him courage that transcended into a new-found freedom to pursue his dreams.

Yana and her band of yarn bombers are trying to beat the odds of dementia with crocheting. And no, they are not just a group sitting around with two sticks and some balls of yarn. The team includes STEM in their designs and explores ways to highlight the importance of active ageing.
