The ongoing Matungu by-election has been marred by accusations and counter-accusations pitting three frontrunners.
Leaders allied to United Democratic Alliance (UDA) candidate Alex Lanya stormed Bulonga Primary School voting station in Khalaba ward claiming that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) had ejected their agents.
The leaders were led by MPs Oscar Sudi (Kapseret) and former Sports Cabinet Secretary Rashid Echesa.
Echesa claimed that a UDA party agent had been evicted from the polling station in unclear circumstances by the security team under the instruction of a presiding officer.
