I honestly prefer cars like the C6 and C7 Corvettes with a manual transmission to this new C8 Corvette. There is no character in the engine of this new Corvette despite it being a spec sheet monster. Connection and soul are missing from a driving standpoint, the steering feels numb and the whole driving experience is centered around safety by building a lot of understeer into the car. Buy it for what it is, a cool-looking comfortable daily driver to tool around town and you will be happy, don't buy it thinking it's the best car in the world.
