Milestone Comics was a creative publisher known for pushing boundaries and well, creating some of the biggest comic book milestones in terms of diversity before the big two did. Or at least did so in a way that felt somehow more sincere than any publisher out there. Following the end of Milestones Comics, some of their characters continued to live on being absorbed and integrated into the DC comics universe. But now the time has come for Milestone’s Dakotaverse, named after Dakota City where much of the comics events take place, to make it’s triumphant return as DC brings it back to life.
