#CycloneNivar Lashes Across Tamil Nadu-Puducherry Coast, Heavy Rain Expected | The Quint

Cyclone Nivar is expected to make landfall in the Tamil Nadu-Puducherry coast on Wednesday evening as a deep depression over southwest Bay of Bengal intensified into a cyclonic storm. The coastal areas of Tamil Nadu are expected to receive heavy rain between 23 and 26 November. Following IMD's warning against the possible impact of the cyclone in Puducherry, the state government has imposed Section 144.
