Lesson 2 - Core Data: Store API response into CoreData | Swift 5, Xcode 11

#Coredata #Tutorial #Swift5 #XCode11 #Generic

Welcome to my channel "Let's Build It", with Imran Malik.

Lesson 1 - https://youtu.be/52Nvkhs-H2o

In today's lesson, we are going to learn how to store API response data into the core data directly and then showing it on the view controller. It will be syncronous process and will be very easy to understand. We will also cover writing of generic delete function that was missed in my last lesson.

We have created Generic class for our CRUD operations, that functions can be reused with any other Coredata entity and you don't have to write whole functions again and again in each class and for each entity.

Core Data is an Apple framework that allows you to store user data to the device and ensure that it can load saved data that persists even after app termination. With Core Data, you can structure your data models with both code and a visual representation, save complex objects, and fetch those complex objects. Learning how to persist data to the device is very import for most applications. Know how to save data can be a valuable tool to add to your arsenal.
