B-52 Stratofortress Long Range Strategic Bomber Off Miami Beach, 2017

(2017 Miami Beach Air Show) Boeing's B-52 has been operated by the United States Air Force since the 1950s. The bomber is capable of carrying up to 70,000 pounds of weapons and has a typical combat range of around 9000 miles without aerial refueling. Recent deployment of the Bomber was in Afghanistan where it routinely carries out close-air support missions.
