2021 Yamaha R1 - First 1000 miles

Go over what I like, what I don't, what I think of this as a street bike, and... stuff. Plus some riding from today, some nice twisty roads...

At the 18:40 mark you can see what I mean about usable power... When we hit the gas in second, the front end comes up and the bike drifts to the right almost into Ken's lane, and I can't steer with the front tire in the air, so I have to back off the throttle, which then allows the Aprilia to pass me. There is a point where having more power, doesn't make the bike faster...

Had we been at 140mph and both hit the gas, then you would see the R1 power ahead...

Gonna need MotoGP style winglets!
