According to CMIE (Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy), Unorganised/informal sector jobs came back. Salaried/better quality jobs did not come back. There has been a lot of recovery versus the April-June quarter. Some recovery in employment generation in October - December quarter. Seen deterioration in employment generation in Oct-Dec quarter. A lot of jobs in the agriculture sector have rolled back. Income inequalities have been rising. Services sector are employment-intensive & under stress. The disconnect between the stock market & the corporate sector as a whole.
