Secrets of learning from a 10 year old | Kritika Jain | TEDxElproIntlSchool

A 10-year-old graced the stage to share the secrets of learning through games. Who knew that gamifying any activity can lead to the learning of important skills like logical thinking, decision making and teamwork? She tells learning with friends multiplies the joys of learning. She shares the powerful impact of visual learning. She also tells her listeners to break away from timetables, and to focus on one activity at a time. Not switching between activities, setting no time limits and taking no breaks can actually lead to better engagement and help one prosper in that one given activity. She says, “Compare yourself only to yourself” as it will make one the better version of themselves. And lastly, she emphasizes on “Practice, practice, practice”. Kritika Jain, is a student of Grade 4K at Elpro International School.

Her hobbies include - reading, swimming, badminton, singing, dancing and music.
She is passionate about singing which she started at the age of 5 and now is getting trained in classical singing. She has also developed a great interest in reading and read as many as 70 books in the last 9 months .
