Smartmockups Demo & Walkthrough

In this a demo and walk-through video on Smartmockups I walk you through the user-interface of this free cloud-based app with which you can create professional product mockups. With Smartmockups you can create a variety of product mockups using professionally-designed premade mockup templates.

The overall user-interface is fairly simple to use, however, give that it is packed with a lot of different types of mockup templates, you will need to take the time to familiarize yourself with the platform. That being said, you will find many different tools, for example, the search box which can be used to find mockups using a keyword.

You will also find various preset filters to help you look for specific mockups. All the mockup templates are organized into several categories like technology, print, apparel, packaging, home and décor, and social media. You’ll find mockup templates for desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones and smartwatches under technology.

Under the Print category, you’ll find mockup templates for branding, business cards, flyers, brochures, posters and even vehicles. Under apparel, you’ll find templates for T-shirts, hoodies, tanks and accessories. When you first log into your Smartmockups account, you will see all the latest mockup templates that have been added.

You can even create your own custom mockups by taking any image and creating a placeholder and saving it as your own custom mockup template. The overall process for creating mockups is fairly simple:

(1) you choose a mockup template and it will open the editor;
(2) next, you add your images and/or videos, and customize it;
(3) and finally download the final mockup.

You will find several download resolution options and you can also add your own logo branding to the mockups.
