Rage 2 gameplay on Steam Deck (recorded with OBS) Part 03 The open world

When I first heard of the game, RAGE 2 seemed like a perfect blend: an open-world adventure set in a post-apocalyptic world, with strong Fallout, Borderlands and Mad Max vibes. However, I made a grave mistake: I launched the game on the highest difficulty which completely destroyed my experience. The bullet spongy nature of every enemy turned all missions into an endurance round where I always ended up out of ammo mid-fight. Yet, I pushed through the story and side content until I really became annoyed. Too far into the game to start a fresh save, but too discouraged to continue playing.
This is my second attempt at the game. What is more, this time it's with the convenience of the Steam Deck. I chose the Hard difficulty and now intend to sit in my armchair and give the game another chance.
NOTE: The footage was recorded ON the Steam Deck with OBS installed and running along with the game. I find it to be a perfect solution for games where I don't feel like installing my entire setup for docked recordings in the living room. Yet the game looks surprisingly good and runs really well, even with the few FPS lost because of OBS doing its thing.
