Cholesterol Synthesis Pathway Lesson: Regulation, Metabolism and Storage as Cholesterol Ester.

Hey guys! In this lesson, you will learn the purpose of cholesterol in our bodies, why acetyl CoA and NADPH are required for cholesterol synthesis, and the rate limiting enzymes for cholesterol synthesis. You will also learn about the cholesterol regulating drugs known as statins and how they function in the cholesterol synthesis pathway.
