A Perfect Golden Hour with My Two Favourites 🌅 (Back to Work!)

Day - 30th March, 2026

Dad Week was incredible, but it is officially time to get back to the WFH grind! 💻☕

Kicked off Monday morning by logging on for work, but I still made sure to squeeze in a nice patio breakfast for Shelby with Akira hanging out right by his high chair. The work day was busy, but taking breaks for Akira cuddles makes it so much easier! 🐾

For lunch, I went with an absolute Aussie classic: homemade Vegemite toasties in the oven. 🍞🇦🇺 After lunch, I managed to get Shelby down for his nap so I could put my head down and get a solid block of work done.

Once I finally clocked out, we celebrated surviving Monday by heading straight to the dog park. The Melbourne weather really turned it on for us, so we walked over to the oval just to sit down and take it all in. Shelby practiced crawling in the grass, Akira chilled right next to us, and we got to watch an absolutely beautiful sunset. 🌅 A perfect end to the first day back!
