Alan Hirsch - Finding the Keys to Culture and to the Human Heart

The truth is that the world we are living in is not ‘secular’ in the sense that we tend to use it the term. The fact is most people report believing in God or a deity of some sort, they think Jesus is the best person who ever lived, and they think spirituality (the search for meaning, purpose, identity, and community) is really important. What they have rejected is the church, along with its standardized, formulaic, reductionistic messaging of the gospel. We need to listen to people and to culture…they are giving us the keys to their soul.

Alan Hirsch is the founder of 100 Movements, Forge Mission Training Network, and Future Travelers. All three organizations focus on pioneering leadership development and training and consulting in on the church as missional movement. Known for his innovative approach to mission, Alan is widely considered to be a thought-leader in his field and has worked with churches and organization across the world, but mainly in North America, Europe, and Australia.
